2022 Spring Ball Season

We will be doing things a little differently this year and there will be two separate registration forms.

Baseball registration is now closed.

Softball registration is now closed.

Registration deadline is April 1st. There will be no late registration this year so please sign up as soon as possible if your child intends to play this year.

We have secured the services of Anthony Pluta again this year and will be running clinics on Sundays through April and May. For those of you who do not know, Anthony was a professional baseball player who now resides in Victoria teaching the game he loves to youths in the sport. We are lucky to have him! Also joining Anthony for the month of April will be Eric Hegadoren, another professional baseball player who will be joining his big league club in May. We also rely on our volunteer coaches to help make these clinics happen.

All practices and clinics will take place at Portlock Park.

Sunday clinics will run April 10th – May 29th with April 17th, Easter Sunday off. Clinics will be held on the main diamond.

Clinic times are as follows:

Coaches Caravan

We are also very excited to announce the return of the BC Minor coaches’ caravan! This is an exciting event for all baseball and softball players. This event will take place Tuesday April 12th at Portlock Park from 5:00-8:00. The first 90 minutes, 5:00-6:30 is dedicated for T-Ball, Tadpole and Softball U9 players, coaches and parents. The second 90 minutes is dedicated for Mosquito, Peewee, Softball U11 and U13 players, coaches and parents. This event has run for many years with professional coaches touring BC Minor association locations putting on fun games and helping volunteer coaches and parents make playing the game as much fun as possible while learning fundamental skills at the same time.

If you are interested in volunteering in any capacity, please contact a board member, we need your help!
