Salt Spring Girls Fastpitch & Softball BC

Salt Spring Girls Fastpitch operates in partnership with Softball BC, the provincial governing body for fastpitch softball in British Columbia. This partnership ensures our program meets provincial standards for safety, development, and competition, while providing girls with clear pathways as they grow in the sport.

What is Fastpitch?

Fastpitch softball is played with:

  • Underhand windmill pitching

  • Smaller field dimensions than baseball

  • Faster gameplay with more action on every play

As players get older, fastpitch provides structured development, competitive opportunities, and consistent rules across leagues and tournaments.
